NEWS

The members at the Annual Meeting passed a motion to allow the finance committee full access to all financial records and procedures. The committee is to report back to the membership at a meeting in three months, their findings, recommendations, and the corrective actions the Board has taken. The membership may then vote to approve or suggest further action. The next meeting will be held on May 18 immediately after the second service.

Membership List Update!

We have found several members whose names are not on our office Membership List and we are attempting to make those corrections, capture email addresses, and update our records all at the same time.

Because we intend to begin sending weekly inspirations and little reminders about church related activities, we are creating a mass email distribution list. There will be an option to unsubscribe and the list will be used for only this purpose.

All are asked to complete a white membership card, even if you are already a member. In order to be considered a member, you would have completed Robin’s membership orientation and received a membership certificate.

Any who are not members and wish to be included in the weekly inspirations and notice of events are asked to complete a blue card.
 

Unity Church of Melbourne presents Super Saturdays in May 2008!

These classes are called Super Saturdays because they are held five Saturdays in a row.  That would be every Saturday in May.  Classes start at 8:00am and run till 5:00pm, with an hour for lunch.  We will offer four 2 hour classes, each Saturday, just like a regular SEE session.  If you take all 4 classes it does make for a long day (including drive time), but you have a whole week to do homework.  If you would be interested in taking classes on this schedule in May, please respond to the e-mail address below. Paulette Mason  ucmadmin@cfl.rr.com
