Volunteers
Service is a noble path to God!
I have come to believe that you cannot grow spiritually without giving of yourself in service. Just as we would not expect to advance on the spiritual path without prayer, forgiveness or tithing, so I see that actively sharing my passion and spiritual gifts in service is essential to on-going spiritual growth. Volunteering is an expression of transformation. By sharing our rich thoughts and loving actions, we set free our innate giving. We are creating abundance in our lives and in all our affairs. We are transforming from the inside out. You’ll get out of the personnel “you” and become more aware of the Infinite Presence in your midst.
Our ministry of service is done mostly in small groups where one has the opportunity to become a prayer partner supporting one another, complementing each other’s gifts and work in a field of safety and trust. There is no great emphasis on excellence, but rather on doing the best we can because we do it for God and we do it for one another. There are currently opportunities for team leaders for the following:

Ministry Team Descriptions We need help with the following:
« Church Family Events Ministry ~ Organizes social events and fundraisers for our church family to attend throughout the year
« Creative Expression Ministry ~ Choreographs & presents performances in conjunction with Rev. Robin for Family Sunday Services and other special events
« Hospitality Ministry ~ Sets up coffee on Sunday mornings and once a month organizes light lunch fare for all to share on Family Sundays
« Landscape Ministry ~ Plants, prunes, feeds and tends to trees, bushes, pond and overall grounds keeping
« Maintenance Ministry ~ Tends to building maintenance
« Marketing Ministry ~ Markets church events to the community
« Newsletter Ministry ~ Produces our Newsletter
« Prayer Ministry ~ Meets every Tuesday at 10:45 am in the Chapel to honor all prayer requests received
« Technology Ministry ~ Operates soundboard and screen on Sundays and when needed for special events in the sanctuary
« Usher/Greeter Ministry ~ Greets people, passes out bulletins and collects Sunday offering at both services
In addition, we are open and receptive to any other talents you may want to offer our church community
